Footwear has always been an important part of peoples' outfit. You may wear branded shirt, trouser and suit, but without a good looking shoe, you does not look good at all. People change their shoes according to their outfits to get a better look. We prefer wearing formal leather or foam shoes along formal shirt trouser and suit while going to attend office and parties, wear snickers with jeans or cargoes while going for movies or picnics and while for going to the playground we wear sports shoes. There is definite reason behind wearing sports shoes while participating in any kind of sports events but there is no justification behind the use of snickers in picnics and movies and formal shoes in parties and offices.

DC Shoes is actually American footwear company and is based in the city of Vista in California. Founded in the year 1993 by Ken Block and Damon Way, the elder brother of popular skateboarder Danny Way, DC Shoes is actually a specialist in manufacturing and selling skateboarding boots and all types of shoes that are needed for extreme sports. You would find a great collection of snowboarding shoes, BMX, rally car racing shoes, surfing shoes, motocross shoes and different kinds of footwear for toddlers.
When DC Shoes was founded, it was known as “Eightball” and used to sell t-shirts and skating accessories only. But as the name “Eightball” was already copyrighted by a man in Seattle, they started looking for another name. By that time, the owners had launched a new range of clothing called Droors Clothing and thus they started the abbreviation DC for their footwear division. After a few years of foundation, the owners of DC Shoes hired an accountant named Clayton Blehm and was offered one third share of the company, but Blehm refused and said he would reconsider the offer two years later. But it never happened as Blehm was dismissed from the company. Later in the year 2004, Quicksilver took acquisition of DC Shoes.
